Field Of Dreams Renovation Project

Built in 1938, the 70 year-old Mohawk Baseball Stadium at Roosevelt Field is in dire need of renovation/repair due to disintegrating cement structure, fiberglass bleachers that have crumbled beyond repair and need total replacement, sandblasting of entire stadium due to paint flaking off and rust development, painting of entire stadium and enlargement of press box. This needed renovation would improve the enjoyment of all that attend baseball games not only for this season, but for future generations of Mohawk baseball players and the fans. This entire project is being done without the use of any School District funds or any funds from the Mohawk Booster Club. All money raised for this project will be from donations secured from an all-volunteer work force through a letter-writing campaign to potential donors, businesses and grants written to local charitable foundations. There is a space on the donation pledge card if you wish your gift to remain anonymous.
